Has he actaully told her his tragic backstory with his family? It would make for a dramatic story and further their relationship, as well as give an extra "aww" and heart to Isabella and Jeffrey. That's kinda where I think that you would also be great at, creating some good character drama like Stephen King in The Green Mile and The Shawshank Redemption. Heck I'm happy to help out with you as well, but hey you managed to make some good character drama and heart with these two, who's to say you're not gonna succeed in more.
