Racket always gets a bit antsy when his ship, The Bazaar, is chained in spacedock for refit, but he trusts his lifelong best friend and business partner, Prodo, to see that their star-faring home and shop is well-cared for at all hours.
Weary from the long journey and hashing out a few bargains with clients planetside, the scruffy batpony takes a drag from his cigarette, looking over the distant cityscape of The Strip and its rows of gleaming skyscrapers. He hasn't seen the Martian skyline since the "incident" that nearly cost the stallion his life, and while Racket's right eye finds that little has changed, its newly-installed left counterpart casts the buildings in a pseudo-neon hue, the sun reflecting off their surfaces and casting a dazzling array of infrared colors in its wake.
Blowing out the smoke, Racket mutters dryly, "Good morning Mars, you're looking real beautiful right now...miss me?"
