With the third and hopefully final installment of the Disney-Wars bastardization... sorry; sequel trilogy of the Star Wars universe... I'm forced to ask: why the hell is there a repeated pattern of the factions of Disney-Wars' version of the Star Wars universe choosing to use vehicles that are WORSE than the things in the past? In fact; never mind "the past": in the case of the Ski-speeder and the Tread-speeder; these are just objectively worse versions of things that ordinary citizens of the Star Wars universe have access to... as in: Rey the goldfish queen had a speeder-bike IN THE FIRST ONE OF THESE SHITTY MOVIES!!!
... Also the Mandator dreadnought has a massive dong... just putting that out there.

The Star FOrtress bomber is always going to annoy me... because Ruin Johnson fucked up HIS OWN METAPHOR... because well: the idea was "oh; they're an homage to Lancaster or Flying Fortress bombers of WWII!"... Cool; just... that breed of Strategic bomber WASN'T USED AT SEA!!! For the self-evident reason (to anyone witha brain anyway) that dropping a buttload of dumb-fire bombs intoa featureless ocean to hopefully hit one target is a very ineffective and wasteful strategy... hence why the tropedo bomber was used instead.
At least the nuke would actually succeed at that job... with dropping a butt-load of bombs from high-altitude into the sea; you're basically just hoping one will hit right on target, and it's entirely possible none will, or that the one won't do enough damage to even cripple the ship in question.
The look itself COULD work for say: Mad Max or Warhammer 40,000, or some other "brutal future" setting... but when you're in a universe with consumer-level repulser-bikes, it's unspeakably stupid... Also the catapulting troops off them by design would be dumb for anyone other than the Orks of WH40K...
