Tarasque.
Dark Beast type: This mutant has a spiked shell to protect him from attacks. His scorpion-like claws have tentacles, tipped with scorpion venom. His head can come off for air attacks.
Myth Origin: Legend has it that the creature inhabited the area of Nerluc in Provence, and devastated the landscape far and wide. The Tarasque was a sort of dragon with six short legs like a bear's, an ox-like body covered with a turtle shell, and a scaly tail that ended in a scorpion's sting. It had a lion's head, horse's ears, and the face of a bitter old man.
Harpy.
Dark Beast type: Harpy is a bird-like monster with bat-like wings. His beak can bite through armor plating and can blast laser-beams from his human-like head. His talons can grab onto pray.
Myth Origin: In Greek mythology, the Harpies ("snatchers") were beautiful winged women who steal. In later traditions they were transformed into winged hags with sharp bird-talons, which is how they are popularly known.
Frankenstein.
Dark Beast type: This guy can blow steam out of his mouth. He can also regenerate everytime that he was destroyed.
Myth Origin: Frankenstein's Monster (sometimes Frankenstein's Creature or The Frankenstein Monster) is an undead creature first appearing in Mary Shelley's novel, Frankenstein, or The Modern Prometheus. The popular 'names' for the monster were not established until after the novel's publication; in the novel, he is usually referred to as "the creature," "the fiend," or "the wretch." Frankenstein's Monster is also commonly but incorrectly referred simply as "Frankenstein," since the monster had no name.
