Legend of the 52 Warriors is a challenge I'm doing on Deviantart. The idea is that you choose a theme (I choose Legend of the 52 Warriors), and post a drawing pertaining to that theme once a week.

In the dark ages now dismissed as fantasy; orc, elf, and all manner of fey roamed the Earth. One most notable of these fantastic races was barbarian warmistress, KritKrit Triplekill. Krit was half human, half orc. She united the scattered orc tribes and made a formidable army out of former thugs and highwaymen. She nearly became a world power, but her army had one weakness. KritKrit's temper was mightier than even her legendary mace. She was responsible for even more orc deaths than any single hero from the armies of dwarves, elves, and humans. Eventually her empire collapsed from the inside.
She survived the ordeal, and lived on as a highly successful mercenary.
