Owned by Mirend Ako (that yellow lizard there) the chief representative of garraguia, Lutum is not a simple shield, it hides a singular and mysterious power as a result from a thing that i call "The genesis failure", but unfortunadely i cannot explain this right, this is a story for another moment.

So, Mirend found that the shield has the power of material manipulation related for minerals, this shield may change it's internal microstruture, so it may earn astonishing properties that a regurar alloy will never have with the known technology, also, the shield may interact with any metal or mineral around it, hence, Mirend found that he can manipulate the minerals around where the shield touches, then he is able even create a pseudo form of life around.

Now he got a entire "Shield spawn" creatures that follow him as an army.
