here is a badge i did for 
lucario41893 's mate. I love how this one came out, and it is driving me nuts that this freakin' scanner is screwing with the color again. It looks so much better in person! it took me a little longer with this one because i had to blend colors on this one for the fur. I used a slate blue for the background and a black border.
