I have to ask, but what they sitting on? A makeshift setup for eating lunch, but what are they sitting on? There's holes large enough that one buttock can be sunk in there, and it looks rather uncomfortable to sit on.

It's not a 6-pack, it is something used to deliver bottles. It sounds like something no regular person should have access to, but some stores don't even take them out and let customers pick them out. Some stores will even allow a customer to buy the entire set in that plastic thing as it came. I heard that that's pretty popular to do in Germany. I also recall it being convenient since if a store has anything to do with recycling, then bringing all the empty bottles back in such a pack is a pretty well mannered thing to do.

BUT regarding Persona 4 here... it's a cheap little shop with cheap food, perhaps the owner was stingy and figured that if he put chairs outside, someone would steal them, so he used these packs. I've sat on them as a kid, they're not really that uncomfortable... if you don't spend a half hour on them, which surely won't be the case in a place like this.

That's was an interesting fact. No plastic cases are taken at stores in the USA, but I wouldn't hold out the possiblity that case&product taken by consumers in some industry.

Eh, this location exists in the game, and me and my friend represent 2 characters in the game and.... it's been so long, that I can't remember if this dialogue was in the game, but it's not like anything relevant is said.
