But if everyone could do such thing with a mere though what's the point of being polite. It would be madness.
I'm not saying you are wrong, hardly. Those with power get respect. Or rather demand it, as they have power. When everyone has such power tho that respect is reduced.

You are forgetting, reikuyin, that everyone is completely rational all the time, and that murder never happens as a result of unthinking passion, or as a result of ignorance, hence nothing could ever stop a cataclysmic chain reaction of shooting over nothing. That is why everyone should carry a gun, like in Somalia, where everyone is safe and prosperous because there is no government and lots of weapons.

I would contest that murder thing giving I've seen people mowed down in the streets by unthinking drivers forgetting they are in 2 tones of steal, and the pedestrian that had right of way is squishy.
And everyone carrying a gun... I can't so much agree with that thought, giving it would be the stupid ones that would fire willy nilly into other peoples houses, sparking retrabution of the smart ones and.. Well things get ugly from there, If entertaining!

Working in a library myself, I would wholly endorse seeing posters like this pop up here and there.
Or those two. Bet they could help us get a handle on all the problem patrons who come in to gab on their phones and eat lunch there instead of reading quietly.
