A robot character of mine, AUrum. I've drawn her a lot in the past but had never nailed down her colour scheme. This piece served a few purposes:
1) Come up with a colour scheme for her
2) Practice painting in a new program
3) Practice painting mechanical elements and synthetic materials.

I've been on the hunt for an art program to use for painterly stuff and I think I've finally found one I'm happy with -- Corel Painter 2020. I used to use Painter many, many years ago (back when it was version 9) and it was great to come back to it! I could have kept refining this piece but I thought it best to step away once I'd achieved my goals. Always learning!
