There are many plaques building built during Japanese occupation era in Taiwan. You can see many of these in Taipei.
Unfortunately not, so I want to break in lol xD

I wish I could afford to travel there. Perhaps you can talk one of those cool Eastern dragons into help me out, although I'm not sure how to ride a dragon, especially for that long. 🐲

Oh I will go to a temple to ask mr. dragon xD Not too many people travel to Taiwan, most of them choice Japan, China or Korea. Taiwan is a fine place to visit.

I just spent around an hour reading about Taipei. I didn't know that it is the capitol of Taiwan. I also learned that it is a metropolitan, much like Dallas-Fort Worth, in Texas, but with more cities. I tried to find the bank in the photo you took, but I can't find the Bank of Taiwan with the street address of 162. I wanted to see a photo of the entire building because I want to join you in robbing it. LOL!

I would much rather visit Taiwan than mainland China at this time in history. The Chinese government isn't too fond of America right now. As far as visiting Japan is concerned, I am probably too tall to fit into one of their capsule hotel rooms. LOL!

It had some history behind it, Taipei is ROC (Republic of China)'s temporarily captial (The real capital is NanJing in China). Chiang Kai-shek's government retreat to Taiwan because they defeated by the communist Mao Ze-Dong in 1949. Before we drop out from United Nations in 1971, we're the certified government of China, but now PRC (People Republic of China) is much more strong than us before, so that's very sad. Chiang's government never went back to mainland again....but yeah, we still think Taipei is our capital, it's a huge metropolitan and an city mixed Chinese culture and Japanese colonial heritages, there is also a dormant volcano national park called Yangmingshan in the city. I like to visit there with motorbike in weekend.

You taught me many things that I did not know about Taipei and I thank you. It is pretty scary these days, with Xi Jinping in charge. I can't help but wonder if he might try to assimilate Taiwan as he is already trying to do with Hong Kong. With Xi wanting to take over the world, I have a feeling that he might become the next Adolf Hitler. I'm just glad that Americans have a Constitutional right to own firearms. If China ever tries to invade America then Xi might be in for quite a surprise, especially in states that do not require its citizens to have a license to own guns, thus they not being in any database. Obviously, I hope that it never happens.

If I ever have enough money then I will consider visiting Taipei and its surrounding areas.

No problem, thanks for listening my History class, lol; I don't know Xi Jinping will be invade America or not, but the only truth is China will be the largest economie next decade, but I guess it lose confidence because the coronavirus disease. They hide the truth at first, that really horrible. It will destoryed all of the Chinese in the world, and people will hate us. No matter we come from Taiwan, Singapore or not.
