Felt like doing something different for this illustration of Captain Bowser, so I went ahead and did a little digital manipulation and made him this fancy map background of his country.

I coloured him in a lot more drab colours than I first imagined him wearing, mostly because he's a very active fighter, and as such, finer clothing would probably just get ruined anyway. He does have a nice spot of bright red on his scarf though, under his cloak.
