Adhmad Darach, a.k.a. Hinter (Hinterlands)
Pronunciation: Adhmad - (Aye-mudt or Ah-madh) Darach - (Dah-rock)
Meaning: OakWood - as in a wooded area composed of mainly oak trees
Finds peace in possessing oak trees, preferably very large or very old oaks with far reaching branches. Particularly enjoys when old growth hedges are nearby or encircle the trees they posses. When someone is within the boundaries of the hedge or beneath the branches they feel a soothing, protective presence. Horses, among many creatures, enjoy frequenting Hinter's favorite trees. Hinter loves the strong, compact appearance of Brabant horses and so has altered their form to represent this.
Hinter has single, large horn on their forehead which they use to gouge the ground and plant acorns to ensure their favorite trees leave no one wanting. Acorns sometimes grow from the tufts of hair on Hinter's ears and around their feathers of front legs and fetlocks. Along with these acorns, oak leaves resembling Red Oak foliage appear as well. Spanish moss-like fur grows in tufts in their ears.
