ロビンフッドの伝説
[The Legend of Robin Hood]
What if Disney's Robin Hood would have been produced by TOEI or Nippon Animation? It would have been a bit like this, maybe!

hahahah wow XD
But yeah, that wouldn't be surprising considering the production of the film. From what I could tell after a little research and looking into retrospective videos about the movie, it did go through a bit of a development hell since Old Man Walt himself had died only a few years before and it was pretty much during the decline which brought to the dark ages for Disney Pictures before "The Little Mermaid". Due to time restraint, strict budgets and forcing to reuse animation from older movies, they really more or less had to rush on the project to gain some money from it.

You know, its funny. I did think about that for a time during the sequel era of Disney and more so when Nostalgia Critic talked about Disney sequels that he personally wanted in which Robin Hood was included but then comes the usual question "Do we really need a sequel though?"
Oh i saw that. And yes i agree with the concept(sometimes a story is done there is no point in continuing it) but i think for robin a reboot could work better. Not big change of things, but making a more coherent story( the old robin hood is great but had some issue when coem to continuity of the story, mactually seemed like various pieces episodes of a series stitched together at times)
I think I like this way, Foxpop! Tezuka and Toei seem a very good match for the story line considering the many variations on the time and universe which Toei has touched on. Like say Three Musketeers, or Princess Knight for example. No doubt however that Robin Hood would look equally good done by Miyazaki and Ghibli crew.
This is fantastic. x)
I once did a sketch of "what if Tim Burton had been in charge of Disney's Robin Hood?" https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18335075/

Heh kinda the same! I watched Robin Hood till it fell apart... Back then (90s) Disney (presumibily not original) VHS tapes often contained pieces of other cartoons and I had many of them! That's also how I discovered the Grimm's fairy tales classics by nippon animation.
Before i could draw decently (i was 4-5) I remember I used to ask mh mum to draw the characters i liked for me :) the very first furry drawing I did (without knowing what furry was) was based on red riding hood' s wolf (nippon animation)

Robin Hood is my new favorite anime, even moreso than King of The Hill!

Good art! You draw not only detailed real-world vehicles or foot fetish (fanservice), but medieval-themed art pieces!
Robin Hood is an criminal, because he stole from the rich and gave it to the poor. He's a thief. A heroic outlaw.
Helluva Boss' I.M.P is also criminal, because this hellish company is murdering targeted famous assholes many common-sensed people doesn't give a fuck, so I.M.P's employees are hitmen. An anti-villainous Murder, Inc.
Question: who are your favorite fictional criminals? Gangsters, hitmen (contract killing), mafia, robbers, smugglers, thiefs, just to name a few regardless of morality.
