All it took was one crack about wishing I could fly somewhere warm, and now I'm a goose! And that baseball cap didn't help (something about baseball caps brings out the bird in me).
But this was a landmark achievement for me – my first digital art! It actually started out as a doodle I made on a library hold slip. Then I thought i'd try a little experiment – I scanned it, and traced over it in GIMP. Gotta say, while I still have a ways to go, it came out better than I thought it would!
