The Inn at the Middle of the Meadow

So remember a while back when I mentioned I was planning to write a series of short fantasy stories for Write and Forge magazine? Well the first chapter of that story is finally published! You can now view it in the following link here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Pp.....ew?usp=sharing
This picture is an illustration for the story itself. This was my first time stepping outside of my comfort zone and try going with a grayscaled, hatching-based inking style for the picture. Mainly I was trying to emulate a similar feel to old Victorian based literature illustrations (with some influence from my best friend, penmark who I've shared a lot of the story ideas for this series with him).
