Very interesting.
Isn't that always the way, that things find some means of growing beyond their "programming"? (whether biological or other)

Beautiful twist ending! Freddy's stepped into a much wider world, and his programming will have to adapt to that.

I think we're just tapping into alternate realities and 'seeing' what the locals are doing.

I submit as evidence the fact that the characters sometimes do things you did NOT originally plan to have happen...

If this were to go further, one major obstacle would have to be overcome: How does a mostly mechanical mammal mate?

It's things like this that make me realize why love is not canon in BIONICLE G1, at least as far as the Matoran are concerned.
