Loooooong time no see.
Almost two years in between pages. It's not a record that I'm proud over.
The only thing I can say in my defense is that life has a way to throw stuff in front of the path you were originally walking. My wish to continue this story and this comic, and my art and painting in general, is unmoved. I really want to do this. Smithing and knifemaking will always go before drawing, but I dream of being able to create a structure that will allow me to do both. Drawing and storymaking is far too precious to me to throw away. So that's that.

Well, I'll be damned... Honestly, at this point, I will have to go through the comic again to remind myself what it was about. I only remember that I always liked it. And I definitely like this recent addition ;)
Good to see you are not giving up on that. I know the struggle all too well... I keep disappointing myself over and over again with not delivering my stuff. But gotta keep trying.

You could say "bleeding" is quite an every day thing in this army. It's the kind of Shaolin mentality of "if you can stand, you can fight". ^^'
Also, most of what's dripping is stale blood being washed out of his skin and fur. The wounds are still mostly shut, just a bit torn in some places. They're also rather shallow and luckily enough non-lethal. Although, there's a bit more to them than what can be seen.
