It's a pretty cool little trail. It's about 2 miles long or so. I don't like going on it in the summer though, it gets a bunch of golden orb spiders everywhere *shudder*, f-in scary.

The Abandoned Road is like that in the summer too. I went there in June or July and started walking down the road and saw a web stretching across the road so I stopped and turned around; they were everywhere in the bushes. I hauled ass out of there.

When I visited Australia for a biology trip, I walked straight into one of their webs at night...somehow my reaction was gagging instead of screaming though, it was rather strange lol. Ughh I can remember feeling the spider moving around when the web was stuck to me

Yeah, this side of the trail wasn't crowded (this side is 2 miles long). The other trail was though (it's much shorter, 1/2 mile), there were a ton of people around because of the space shuttle launch.

Though after reading the comments, I'm quite sure I wouldn't go there during summer...spiders are just ewww.
