Kaala is able to gather energy in MANY ways, from photosynthesis, Lava baths, to good ol' energizer bunny style electricity. Electricity is her apparent favorite because its quick, warm, and gives you a good boost to your step, however it does give her a static effect and can give quite the jolt if an un-grounded individual were to touch her right after a charge. One would think her long neck and crest is what conducts these strikes however it is actually mostly from her horns and wing spurs that are able to catch the lighting like old fashioned lighting rods.
