“Dude who pirates an exercise video game?” Blaino the sunset bear asked.
“Don’t ask me, do you want it or not? I heard they pulled them from the shelf almost immediately, with no reason given. So, it’s a pretty good collectors’ item.” Blaino’s friend said smugly.
“…It’s pirated though.” The bear said bluntly.
“Fine fine, I’ll give you a half-off discount, deal?”
“40$ isn’t, okay fine. I’m going to resell it at some point though!” Blaino said haughtily.
“Not my problem, pleasure doing business with you~” They shook hands, much to Blaino’s chagrin. Blaino took his new “game”, and left the food court they were meeting up in. “Making it look like a drug deal…” He thought to himself, reading the box art for the game. In big letters it said “Extreme Gain!” Like it was an energy drink. Blaino squished his stomach, he was certainly quite pudgy, and was looking for an excuse to work out more. His friend just happened to take advantage of his collector personality. The back of the box had more buzz words and jargon, stuff to make you buy the game. “I wonder why they had to pull this game…wait, if he pirated this…he must have a real one to make copies of! That son of a…”
Blaino made it back to his apartment and headed to his room, intent on trying out this new “game”. He threw on a pair of sweat pants and a comfy tank top to work out in. Blaino pushed the coffee table in front of the TV to the side so that he could have more room to move around in. “Oh! That’s right, I almost forgot-“ The bear went to the kitchen and sifted through his cabinets, producing a bright colored box. “An excuse to try one of these protein bars, I think they’re chocolate flavored?” Blaino unwrapped them, they smelled like a chocolate brownie. He licked his lips before putting it into his maw and eating it, it even had the soft texture of a brownie! He tossed the wrapper into the bin behind him, taking the box with him. “Dang…these are dangerous, I probably shouldn’t eat too many.” He set the box on the couch before grabbing his controllers.
The game booted up fine, despite being pirated. The graphics were decent enough, not much you can expect from an exercise game. “Oh, if I wanted to resell it, I probably should have kept it in the wrapping…” Blaino lamented as he pressed the start button, his stomach grumbled in response. “Okay…pretty bare bones, there’s a few things to choose from…running…mixed activities…sports simulation…” Blaino cycled through the given options, before choosing running. The bear stretched his body while it loaded, the loading screen was black and only had a tip on the screen. “Remember to drink water and eat energy bars between sessions!” Blaino cocked his head, that seemed like odd advice to him.
When the game started up, Blaino instinctively held the two controllers up in both hands, imitating a jogging stance. The screen lit up with a virtual track through a town, with a map at the top right corner. It indicated three laps, each around a mile long. “Oh jeez, it’s been too long…” The sunset bear gulped before prepping himself as the countdown started. “3…2…1…go!” The game blared out for Blaino, who immediately started running in place. The movement of the controllers gauged how far he was going. Blaino’s trek was going smoothly, it felt like any other game like it. That is until about halfway through the first lap, half a mile in. “Man…I really must be out of shape…this is harder than I had thought…” The sunset bear was already breaking into a sweat, his blue brown fur showing a bit through the damp fabric of his white tank top. The run itself was doable, but there was a pain in the center of his gut that was distracting him. Blaino groaned audibly, as did his belly. “Maybe eating that protein bar right before this was a bad idea…” Blaino sucked it up though, and pushed forward. Once he got his rhythm going the bear wasn’t able to be stopped, until the end that is. Nearly all of his energy was drained after just three miles of running in place. The sunset bear stepped backwards and collapsed onto his couch. “What even man…I guess I should have started doing this…sooner…” He had to take several deep breaths, Blaino was nearly wiped out. His stomach rose up and down between each breath. The bear cocked his head at the reflection of the black screen, before it loaded back into the main menu. He could have sworn that his belly looked rounder.
“Nahh, must have been my imagination…” He said poking his squishy tummy bashfully, intent on getting rid of it. After a few pokes it audibly growled, making him blush more. He patted it. “There there, we’ll eat later…” The game made a notification sound. “Remember to drink water and eat two energy bars before your next session!” “…two? I thought it was one?” Blaino, exhausted from his work out, and stomach growling, reached into the box next to him. “Whatever…not like I’m not hungry anyways…” He ripped off the wrappers, the chocolatey scent perked him right up. “Mmm…well, any excuse to eat these things again~” He said happily, as he greedily stuffed them both into his maw. The moist brownie texture made his tongue dance with joy, he prolonged chewing as long as possible just to keep the sensation his mouth longer. All good things come to an end however, and Blaino swallowed both bars down. His belly grumbled in response, digesting three bars now. “Ok, let’s get some water now…oof…” It took him an extra attempt to get up from the couch, he blew it off to just being tired. The sunset bear filled up a water bottle and started to rehydrate. Before he knew it, he had chugged the whole bottle. His stomach filled with both water and energy bars made him feel heavy, this only motivated him to try and lose weight. “Yeesh, I really was thirsty, three miles will do that to you…” He said, refilling the bottle, and heading back to the TV. His belly sloshed ever so slightly with each step.
Blaino slapped his cheeks, pumping himself up for another round of exercise. “Okay! Belly, say goodbye!” He said loudly as he loaded up the various activities option. The black loading screen presented itself again, this time Blaino could see clear as day. His belly was rounder than it was before. “That, that looks like…” He gripped it, it definitely felt pudgier…and felt like it was pushing against his hands. He jumped as the game snapped him out of it, he pushed it out of his mind. He couldn’t help but start a nervous sweat. The game listed out what Blaino would be doing. First sit ups, then jumping jacks, then finally push-ups. The onscreen directions showed how to do perform each step, Blaino got himself comfortable on the ground as he waited to do the sit-ups. He gulped, as his belly seemed to be looming over him. The announcer started the count down and Blaino prepped himself. “Ready, set…go! 1! 2! 3!” The announcer blared, keeping pace like a metronome as Blaino tried to do sit-ups. They were never his strong suit, but this felt different. The sun bear was having issues sitting all the way up, not out of lack of strength, but because of his body. His belly felt like a weight, holding him back from sitting up all of the way. It pushed against his thighs to the point where he could feel how pudgy he really is. The sweat from his tank top transferred to his pants and was only getting worse. Blaino started panting after about 10 sit-ups. Pushing his belly up and down more only added to the difficulty of completing the task. At 30 out of 50 sit-ups, Blaino gave up and flopped to the floor. His panting nearly overtook the announcer in terms of audio. Blaino clutched his belly, as it growled loudly on top of him.
“I…what’s going on…I know I can do this…this should be a piece of cake…mmm…cake…” His bellies growl snapped him out of his trance, he looked over at the TV. The results were 60%, Blaino blushed bashfully for not being able to complete it. “Ugh, what is wrong with me…I feel so heavy…” It took the sunset bear some effort, but he eventually made it back on his feet. He took a big sigh to try and get his erratic breathing under control. “Come on…deep breaths…it’s okay…” Without thinking, he pulled his tank top down, his belly starting to outgrow it. “Time for some jumping jacks!” His eyes widened as the announcer spoke, after a moment of composure Blaino picked up the controllers and stood straight. “1!” Blaino started along with the announcer, his belly jiggled and sloshed audibly between each jumping jack, making him blush. He was losing his breath again, faster than before. His tank top was riding up more, and so he pulled it down. He stopped himself after about 15 jumping jacks, unable to pull his tank top down.
Blaino panicked as his tried pulling his shirt down, he used all of his strength but he couldn’t deny it any longer, his belly was fattening up quickly in front of him. It was audibly churning in front of him, as if it was rapidly digesting something. “The…the protein bars!” Almost as if it could hear him, Blaino’s gut growled, wanting to be fed. Blaino’s was sweating profusely as he tried to comprehend what was happening, his revealed gut glistened from the light in his apartment. Unfortunately for Blaino, his belly wasn’t the only thing growing. His thighs were swelling up underneath him, along with a plump new butt to boot. Blaino had to readjust his stance to compensate for his growing mass, the thought of which made him increasingly worried. “I…I gotta…sit down…” Panting a bit, the sunset bear crashed back onto the couch behind him, rattling the box of protein bars next to him, causing a cacophony of sound to emit from his greedy gut.
“W-we don’t need, I don’t need anymore!” Blaino whimpered. His belly did not care though, and demanded to be fed. He tried to rub the large mound of a gut in front of him to calm it down, he was starting to feel the hunger. “J…just one more…that’s it!” He gulped as he reached down for the box of protein bars. There was about six left, he reached inside and slowly brought out a bar. He carefully ripped the wrapping off, almost scared to eat it. He used his spare paw to wipe his forehead of sweat, before starting to eat the brownie bar. Like before, he made an attempt to try and savor it. It was just as good as the last time, but it wasn’t enough for his gluttonous appetite. “…fuck…so good…” Blaino finally gave in and furiously ate the rest of the bar, before turning his sights to the box. In a matter of seconds, the sunset bear tore through all five of the wrappings and started to devour them all at once. They made a luscious cake sized brownie in his maw, he was in paradise. “Yes…more…” He chewed and chewed, until there was nothing left to chew. Before he had realized it, he had willingly swallowed 10 energy bars. His belly was ominously quiet, Blaino was coming back to his senses. His belly ached, not like before. Blaino sat up and rubbed his irritated gargantuan gut, before release a burp so loud it shook the very floor of his apartment. In a daze, Blaino covered his mouth and slumped back into his couch. Gas gone, his belly started to churn out more and more fat onto an already colossal bear. Blaino alarmed, tried to push it down, but his pudgy paws were getting lost in a sea of plush bear fat. His belly started to growl again, louder than ever. Then, Blaino finally passed out, exhausted from all of the gains.
Ding dong. Ding dong. Ding dong. “Ugh…what?” A few hours later, Blaino woke up in a daze. He was groggy, and could barely keep his eyes in place. Ding dong. Ding dong. “Okaaay…I’m coming…” Blaino got himself up from the noticeably sat in couch and started making his way to the door. His footsteps echoed through the apartment and several floors upward, the sunset bear was too tired to really notice. Upon getting to the door, Blaino swung it up. “What?” There was no one there, just a pile of boxes below him. Pizza boxes. Blaino was able to smell the contents from there, awaking his massive gut. If Blaino started the day as a large, maybe XL, then he was nearing XXXXXXL at this point. His belly butt and thighs had plumped up so much that he was barely recognizable. Blaino would put most sumo wrestler furs to shame now. He stammered, realizing that this was not a nightmare he had woken up from. The pizza in front of him was ever so tempting. He licked his lips, looked down and rubbed his belly, and reflected. “…I…probably shouldn’t leave this out here-“ He gulped as he figured his way to getting the pizza boxes inside, without getting stuck in the door frame.
Blaino got his way over to in front of his TV, deciding not to sit on the couch anymore so as to not break it. He was still coping with the fact that he could break it. Slowly, he sat himself onto the ground. Blaino tried to sit cross-legged, but something enormous in front of him was getting in his way. Nevertheless, he tried to sit comfortably. “Okay, where did these…five.” He inhaled. “Five pizza boxes come from.” Blaino ripped the receipt off of the top box and read it. ‘ONLINE ORDER.’ It said. Blaino looked behind him, and noticed his phone on the couch. Putting two and two together wasn’t hard, especially seeing how loud his gut was complaining about waiting for food. “M-maybe I can keep exercising…” growl. “I could start jogging in the morning…” Groooowl. “I-I could start a diet-“ GROOOWL. Blaino’s breathing was starting to pick up again, his body wobbled with each breath, only adding irritation fuel for his gut. “I-I shouldn’t…I can’t…I…” The greasy cheese hit his nostrils again, and that’s when it was all over for him. “I’m…so hungry…just a little bit…” He opened up one of the pizza boxes, mouth immediately watering. He licked his lips one last time before tearing the first piece to shreds, slice by slice. “M-more…” At the second one he didn’t even bother eating it by the slice, he just rolled it up like a burrito and stuffed it into his mouth. The sunset bear’s gut digested loudly and happily as Blaino was gorging himself by the mouthful. After the second one, Blaino laid on his back. Taking whole pizzas with one hand and stuffing them into his mouth, while the other hand was rubbing his growing brown gut. Blaino was in complete and utter bliss. “Mmf…so good…so fat…”
