Wow. That has to be some of the best 3D work I've seen in a long time. The eyes were very realistic. They only briefly stop tracking just as the whole head moves back the other way, but otherwise flawless.

That's odd, there is no aliasing on the left side of the model edge.

hi,
that is because of the depth blur effect. the left side is closer to the camera and does not get blurred. if you watch the right ear you can see how the blur is effecting it when she turns her head to the side.

a good render shouldn't be that sharp around the edges. I guess if you have layers, you can Gaussian blur it a lil in post.

That's a lil bit less noticible.
What's your aliasing settings anyway? Typical tv/film is set to 0 min, 2 max, with a colour threshold? of 0.100 for RBGA

i think it was 0/2 maybe -1/1 but not less. i defringed it in photoshop so that in combination with the strong bright and dark contrast in that certain spot plus the video compression is causing the problem...

I know I had to use somewhat high settings rendering fur for my demo reel few years back.

absolutely outstanding. i haven't seen this well rigged of a model in a while. but i noticed the bump map jumping on your and off the faces on the model right side above the eye. but i am highly impressed
