15 - Legend & Drawtober: Wolf’s Bane

Uncommonly known fact: I love lycanthropic lore. So much that I had to take this chance to make my own lycanthrope.

Ulfrer is cursed with the plight of lycanthropy, roaming the moors of his land for centuries in recompense for lighting fire to a druid’s hut and stealing away with his best sheep. Unable to shift back into his human form, he becomes the wolf until one night when he lies down to sleep in a bed of pretty blue flowers.

Returned to his human form by some clumsy loophole in the curse, his wolfish self is dying rapidly, and every attempt to shift again becomes torment and pain. Will he accept his former mortal body, or will he die brutally with his beastly frame?
