My beloved weegie/Norwegian forest cat, Mordecai <3 He's staying with my parents right now since loose animals are not permitted in this apartment. But I'm hoping to pry him back when we move :P He's about 15 years old, but still very lively, and has the most laid-back, awesome personality of any cat you've ever seen. He talks to you, loves butt poundings (he has arthritis) and loves to sleep in laps. He has a big black nose, long hind legs, super thick fur even between his toes, really long fangs and a bulky body, all characteristics of his breed, and you can see every one of his teeth when he meows, it's so adorable :P
I worked at the animal shelter for two months and when I left, I took him with me. He had belonged to an old man who died, and came in with his brother. They were both mourning so heavily that they weren't eating, his brother died and I brought him home and hand-fed him for months til he was healthy, spoiled and happy again. <3
Sadly (for me)... he seems incredibly attached to my parents' ragdoll cat, Mugsy, and he's already so bonded to my mom, I think at this point they've claimed him. His happiness is most important to me! I am determined to get another cat when we move, I miss having them around SO MUCH. A sphynx is definitely in order as I've been dreaming of getting one for nearly a decade. /ramble

i have a couple of ragdoll mixes myself, and i could never part from my babies! i know how it must feel not to have yours by your side!
i would love a sphinx or a Japanese bob tail.
my great aunt used to breed Maine coons, and now has a trio of Persian sisters.
cats are just awesome!

There is a wild kitty we at our house managed to rescue, who is this. Lennell, or nellie, as we call her, is stunning to see, and cute as a button. She is old, we guess, at least 8-10, but has white slippers of fur on her front, and white tufted boots on the back feet, and a look of pure innocence that just melts your heart to see. Then moves like greased lightning at a sound she doesnt recognise, but the breed is amazingly smart and creative.
I really love how Mordecai's green eyes compliment with his jet black fur. Wouldn't a cat this old getting some white radiant on his face? He is one majestic looking cat for sure.
Sorry to hear you'll have to let Mordecai live with your parents. Skogkatt are known for their affectionate and loyal nature and I cannot imagine how he felt when he lost his owner and then his brother. The old dude have seen quite a bit of life. *thinking about my 9 Years old husky's well being as well*
