Character description: Omen has gotten her name cause she is actually an omen herself, meaning she is a visual representation of your near future. She has two visual appearances. The one in this reference being the shape she takes as a good omen, and her other shape being a bad omen. The shape is different for everyone so two people in the same room could both look at her and see a different shape. Though it is possible for people to see a shape not matching theirs if the omen is extremely bad or extremely good. Her original name was going to be 'Karma' because the shapes she takes depends on your own previous actions. Good actions leading to a good omen and bad actions leading to a bad omen. That's why the two shapes can be referred to as her shapes of forgiveness and vengeance. It's important to note that the bad omen is most likely to appear when someone has done something bad to another person. In that case the bad omen is really after vengeance and rather than just being a warning or bringing bad luck they will actually physically haunt you and try and get their revenge for the person harmed. Omen is not spiritual in the sense that she can not be touched or is not physically existing. She does exist as an actual being in the world but is spiritual in nature because he shape can be altered easily or even be two appearances at the same time (when multiple people see her). Both shapes are equally true to her real shape, so it's equal amounts her identity. Her behaviour does change accordingly because she is rewarding good behaviour and avenging bad behaviour.

Origins: Omen is a fictional character but also a fursona in the sense that she is my personal created protector. She is the strongest side of me and embodies any anger I have ever felt. Whenever I needed to feel strong I pretended to have long bear claws to defend myself and be strong like a bear as well. The more peaceful side of nature is more represented in the good shape and makes me think about being mindful in a forest environment to bring more peace of mind. She is both extremes at once. Bears are also my number one favourite animal, so it wasn't a difficult choice to make her a bear. She is a sloth bear because my partner has given me a Sloth bear plushie and the first bear I ever saw with my partner was a sloth bear. Their poofy ears give them a very unique look for a bear. In the beginning I used to refer to Omen as 'Rosie' because the plush is called Rosie, and the plush is named after the bear we visited. Omen is my only female fursona, all others are either non-binary or male. Even though I personally don't like to be referred to with she/her it's just how Omen needs to be and I have no real explanation for this.
