But the decisions I've made, the resolve I've found. Bit by bit I'll stop being the arrogant little guardian that the monks raised me up into. A fallen guardian I may be, but that makes me no less of a sacred Phoenix and an immortal Kami! I am Kun-Fei of the Molten Plumage, and by Earth and Flame, by the molten rocks which shape worlds, I swear I shall stand in protection of these lands that hold the friends I've found! The lands that are teaching me the humility I need!"

Safe for work stuff, how dare I.

I've wanted to start getting more dynamic pieces of my characters for a while now, and it was a hard decision but I decided to give Kun Fei the first shot at it, as a phoenix he has a bit of natural flamboyance to him that I felt made him a good fit. And as primarily aspected to earth, but still able to use fire because of his species, he was able to have two different types of magic shown off in this active piece. You may also notice this piece has a similar name to another on my gallery, I think the first of these super dynamic and evocative pieces for all of my characters will follow a similar scheme.

Also hey look, one of my characters actually is wearing clothing for once.
