Fun and well drawn comic -- thanks for sharing! . Birds gulping down smaller birds like that is a fairly common occurrence in nature though rarely depicted. I recall a nature film in which an eagle and stork together systematically wipe out a whole colony of nesting birds in a bush. The near-staple food of most carnivorous birds in captivity are male chicks as they have no use on egg ranches. (That's the main food of my reptiles too, as they are the cheapest "whole animal" food you can buy (though they eat a fair bit of 'road kill' mammals too!)
