Explorers like Lewis and Clark got all the press in discovering The New World. But nobody seemed to care about what populated that world or why.
Ao wasn't in it for the press anyway. It was the discovery!
If no one would publish his Encyclopedia of Anthropomorphics, it would be a shame, but he was truly in it for the documentation, the writing, the drawing, and of course, the adventure. To say that he had lived a life that couldn't be replicated, to hear and record the stories of the different cultures and races... That may be better than publishing his tome, after all.
What even is an Encyclopedia if it is not eternally a work in progress?
