I would guess is the one the prayer is about.... on an universe where the divine are eldrich beings from beyound our limited existence... it would seem it is all a matter of bonding / forging a pact with something... and all somethings care little for the tiny little fleshlings and ask a cost for placing any effort on intervention...

I forgot to mention that this does not surprise me. We have this arrogant or ignorant notion these outer dimensional beings we pray to resemble us but they are alien, so yes they would nothing like we imagine. XD Though right now I am not sure to be happy or concerned for Julia. O__o
