I don't know about the other folks in the audience, but I sure do! New Kids actually had a comeback tour/concert about a year ago. Women in their mid 30s were going nuts!

I heard that song constantly in high school. And I don't mean during my high school years - I mean in the high school during school hours. For a while they kept playing the chorus of that song on the school's internal TV channel as a bumper between school news and Channel 1. Even people who didn't listen to the Backstreet Boys knew that song by then. X3 That made this joke particularly potent and hilarious.
