HAPPY BIRTHDAY VIRTUAL PET GODS

So this is the real reason I had to participate in Neovember this year more then any other: Neopets is insanely old. Like, almost as old as I am. And I'm turning to dust as we speak! It's so crazy to think that the living time capsule that is Neopets is still alive and running to this day.
I decided to not only paint this but paint a Yellow Kacheek because as much as Adam always liked Chias and as much as Poogles ran the site for a while there, Kacheeks are Peak Neopets to me. Small, cute, obviously inspired by a real animal, but also unique and vague enough on their source of inspiration to be unique. Plus I love them.
So thanks, Neopets, for being around forever and a day. For better or for worse, you impacted me as a kid and you still impact me as an adult. Godspeed.
