Boys and girls meet Alex or Akel as he's known to other Sauros. Akel here i sa Saurosapien. A sentient species of dinosaur which survived the mass extinction. His kind evolved alongside our own however never in great numbers. Akel here is a teenager and lives near the beach with his family. Their home is farther down the beach away from prying human eyes. Sauros live in secrete among humans and in their own concealed communities. Their numbers are small compared to the human population of 7 billion. The Sauros number 8 hundred million. Not even one seventh our own number. Because of this and prior incidents with humans the Sauros keep their existence secret from all but a very few humans. They are able to blend in with humans thanks to solid holographic technology. Sauro tech is much more advanced then human which has enabled them to remain out of sight. For the most part anyway. Unless your a very close friend with a Sauro you'll never see his true face and if you do it may well be the last thing you ever do see.

Akel here is a fairly nice young individual. Fairly idealistic. He hopes for a time when he won't have to wear a disguise when he does out to town. As such he makes a point to wear it only when it's really needed. Usually at home he keeps it off unless he knows some human company is going to drop by. Akel here is very close with another Sauro boy in the area named Jim or "Jeka" depending on what species you are. The two of them work an observatory owned and primarily operated by their own kind. The facility is there to track an asteroid which is scheduled to hit earth in about five or six years. Akel is looking forward to it. Since his dad is a Sauro of some importance Akel here gets the scoop on council plans. "Council's gonna let the rock hit. We're already prepared and able to survive this. All it'll do is lower the human's population. Wipe em out if we're really lucky. If not however we'll come out to them and provide aid to the survivors to bring ourselves into the light favorably to the humans." Akel here likes the council's plan and is crossing his fingers. As for other things about him well I'm sure you noticed what's sticking out above his shorts and bulging through them. Yup Akel is incontinent. A family defect that's inherited every other generation it seems. Akel doesn't really mind it as he's never known anything else and is lucky enough to have Jeka who actually likes that and thinks it's cute and has a bit of a thing for diapers himself. All in all Akel has a pretty good life and a very interesting future to look forward too.
