Since the Creator had left the planet and left them to guard the eternal Shadow, they knew it'd be a long wait. But he also knew that he couldnt stay with the others. So he fled to the deepest of the oceans, into the dark caverns of the unexplored depths. To wait.
The prophecy told, that someone would search for them, for to free the Shadow. He wanted to make sure he was not found for that purpose. But hundreds of years in the darkness began to frighten him. Scared of the cold abyss he had gone into, he traveled to the shore again. There, he once ran into a tribe of mermaids and mermen. Weakened by the darkness, he was nursed by them. When he remembered the ability that had been granted to him and his "siblings" by the father, he transformed into one of them. When he traveled to their home and settled there, he felt.. He was safe. Safe to wait for the brighter future, where the ine who has been chosen would finally reunite him, his brother, his sister..

...And their Father.

This is a screenshot from my comic... Well, kinda. The man here is Qianoe, the mythical dragon who presents the water, and one of the dragon guardians of the planet Q.A.R. Qianoe is in fact a very shy character, and he's pretty easily scared. Out of the three guardians, he is the one who resembles their "father" the most. He was scared of being used for evil purposes, so he fled from the others and hid himself. Since the day he couldnt stand the dark caves anymore, he has been living with mermaids. But he is ashamed of himself, for leaving the others. Yet he is too scared to return and face them.

Lets hope that he'll get better C:
