(Just scribbled up a little visual accompaniment for someone and figured I'd share that love/advice on out a bit further!)
-Make use of good old guiding-shapes n lines (then building from there!)
-I also try to implement sketching in the 'planes' that I'm going between for a given figure in a scene too :3
But there are also. A ZILLION more helpful tutorials here on FA, over on DeviantART (and accessible from google in general too I'm sure!) that I find quite helpful also!
Quick searches of 'X THING' will turn up a well-spring of better illustrated tutes!
ALSO REFERENCE MATERIAL~! super good!
