At one fur meet this fall in Texas, bluewolfy showed up in a used car he recently bought. The guys were discussing car stuff and blue decided to pop the hood and drool over the engine. They found an iguana under the hood of his car and they started yelling for me since they know I keep reptiles. I chased that iguana all around that engine compartment before he dropped off and just sat on the park bump. I tried grabbing the little monster and he took off running and I chased after it. It ran around a bunch of bamboo then around an oak tree then up the oak tree and disappeared. It was rather funny. Healthy little monster, but not ordinarily from around here. I wished I caught him. It was probably a lost pet or abandoned pet.

Probably. The iguana's in South Florida (My university is in retirement paradise) are definitely not native, but there are hoards of them on campus. They never hurt anyone though. They keep to the trees, sunning. :) That's an awesome story! lol!
