Wow. Th!is is a nice CLEAN and well proportioned drawing! It may have a fault or two but I don't CARE:) The date given may be the only thing some people care about. She wasn't launched yet. The location of the bow name letters are a little too far foreward. Then the only other things might be the funnels. Finally, Personally I wouldn't have done every frickin' porthole either.

Actually the date I put in submission info the date of when I were started drawing and finished it. Well... for the error, you can see clearly at the aft of the ship, the deck that holding mast were missing, another deck as you can see too small and short, missing lamp at the flag mast, the flag were blank and there are too little details here. For the whole ship, the telegram line on top of the ship were single lined, not much detail on the first class deck and the funnels looked little funny. But never mind, thank you again.

oh yes! I forgot about that rectangular protrusion at the rear mast. But being drawn from memory this is still a stellar piece of work! The date I was referring to was on the drawing itself though, under the title at the lower right corner.

About the date, yes another year error. When I was going to write the number, I'm mistook the number '1' as '0', too many binary number in my brain maybe... Supposedly the year were 1911 and this picture were a propaganda picture of The White Star Liner, about a new liner in their service. And thank you again.

I do see an error. Titanic wasn't even built in 1901.

Actually there are more than the year error, you can read the comments above to know more about the error. But thanks for knowing me the error :) Maybe I will more careful on the drawing in the future.

Well, I did see another error, Titanic's name in the wrong place on the bow (almost like the Queen Mary). You did however get one thing right that most people get wrong, the forth funnel being a dummy and not breaching out smoke.

Yeah, you're right! I've just realized the position of Titanic's name in the wrong place, it actually at the bottom of the bow's white line. Well, at the starting of sketching of this Titanic I have a big argument with my friend regarding the funnel, after showing the movies, picture and anything else that can be used as prove and after several day, he finally believe on the dummy funnel.

In terms, the fourth funnel was positioned right over the engine room so there is no way that it could breach out smoke. It was added to make the ship more better looking than having three funnels. It also had some other functions, primarily to store deck chairs and a pipe ran inside it to exhaust heat and such from galleys, kitchens, etc.

Darn! After a lot of thinking, maybe I will remake this artwork after looking back at this drawing that has many error in design. Also this ship looked a little bit short and small than usual. Well, this majestic ship will be redrawn again with more precise and details and maybe I will post it here next month.

Fact: Actually the main reason for the fourth funnel were there on that ship were the White Star Liner company were on fight with Cunard Liner and also the designer have to put in that funnel to impress the media at that time. Maybe there are more but I'm very sleepy right now.

Very interesting fact. I didn't even know of that, although I do know of the competition battle between White Star and the Cunard Line.

Yes, it can be said the largest battle between oceanic company, the White Star Liner lost the battle but merge together with Cunard Liner as both of the company had trouble competing with airplane company. You can get more info in Wikipedia.

You mean the jet age after World War II. But it was sad enough that the sister ship of Titanic, Olympic, was scrapped in the 1930's following the merge with Cunard.

Yeah, the company can't keep up with financial problem as more people choose the quickest way to go around the world instead choosing the luxury of the ship. What a shame :(

Yes, that is. Jets can get you to your destination faster but you have to give up luxuries like walking on the decks.

I'm imagine that myself walking on the deck of a ocean-going liner, watching sunset with sea breeze blowing toward myself and preparing for diner. Meet and have a talk with captain and officer... what a nice imagination...

Oh My God, your art reminds me of myself when I was younger. faaaantasticc !! This looks exactly like the millions of ships I drew back then. I was such a fan of those things back in like 6th grade and I had like 240 different drawings of the RMS Titanic plus passenger trains, diesel electric locomotives and commercial airplanes. Good old days x3

Well, you just returned to your childhood day! Same as me, when I was in primary school, I love to draw all about ships, subs, planes and trains, but all were gone. You still can drew that vehicle as it will bring back your old memory. Right now I'm putting this ship on the remake list as there are too many error in design. Thank you :)
