Supernatural creatures can have many moments for reflection. Especially ones that spend so long in the mortal realms.
Old photos especially can bring up memories of friends that have passed over the ages.
Bastan is no stranger to this, finding a faded old photograph of a friend. Still in black and white but able to bring up so many memories. Enough to cause spirit-motes to float around unbidden.
