I'm noticing that you can totally see my human face through the mouth from the side in any photo that's not dead-on like this. I think I need to redo the lower jaw to fix that. :)
Hossifer's number is '05' because I came up with him in 2005. Another interesting note is that the basketball jersey I got for him is almost impossible to get out of! If I gain any weight under the muscle padding, they'll need the jaws of life to get me out of that thing!
The '077' Fursuit tag I got from FC that year was given to me by the talented
dustykat I'm really happy he gave me a super lucky number!!!

Thank you, Dante! The 077 tag is actually made of pressed wood! The Old West theme was soooo cool at the con! I have to say that my 1800s southern voice for Hossie didn't fit as much with the sport jersey. But I didn't want to go with a street balla' kind of accent. If I felt like developing this separate "modern Hossifer", he might use sound like Woody Harelson in White Men Can't Jump. A thick southern white guy twang using street lingo that doesn't mesh properly. :)
I think that'd work! I recently hot-glued some black mesh to the inside of Roxikat's mouth to hide my face. I needed it to be far enough away from my lips so that I wouldn't get any buzzy mouth muffling. Having a muffled voice makes it creepier. I think I can do this with Hossifer! :)
