Since my Smash Bros on KoF comic went well, I thought I'd make a more positive light on the whole "No Mai in Smash" cameo thing. Again, blame CERO for the decision.

Besides, with Terry getting into Smash, people who don't play any other fighting games besides MK or SF got woken up to the existence of the other best fighting game series: King of Fighters. But that's besides the point. Cameo or no cameo, Mai Shiranui is getting alot more attention than she has when she is a full-on guest star in DOA6. If you ask me, she's better off on any other fighting game crossover.

Mai loves the attention. So what she'll never get in Smash, right? So long as she gains more popularity. Her fellow kunoichi Kasumi from DOA supports her. Besides, all the more reason to draw these two together.
