Commentary for May 3, 2014:

Drawing the Imperials was really quite fun. I've always found echidnas quite difficult to draw myself, but I'm really pleased with how they turned out. I took some inspiration from Enclave officers from Fallout 3 for the uniform, which I think looks pretty good in a sci-fi, fascist, paramilitary sense. The only problem with this page really was the computer displays, which are not great, I admit. But I'm hoping to use Photoshop in future to do a much better job of that sort of thing.

Also, the Imperial warship in the first panel is an Imperator class cruiser, which featured heavily in Eon's Comic from 2007 onwards.

Addendum for November 11, 2019:

In order to bring the format of the earlier chapters into line with Chapter 7 onwards, I’ve made an updated version of this page, which is larger, with clearer text. Hopefully, this will make the earlier chapters easier to read.
