Biography

Zavi (verbalized with a light ‘B’ tone on the ‘V’), was born in a harsh, dusty and dry world. To survive, lifeforms built clans and lived like nomads and fight for their territory and recourses. From infant to young child, she was taught to obey this simple reality. So, when the day came when their clan got attacked and expelled for the minerals in the ground they lived on, she was prepared. But she didn’t expect a savior to come that day. The leader of the Tuatha de Danaan known as ‘The Insurgent’ who helped fighting off the otherworldly intruders in their greedy attempt to illegally set foot on an underdeveloped planet, adopted the young hyena since any trace of her relatives or her tribe was lost.
Despite her unwilling abduction, the cup quickly accepted the new figure as some sort of foster father, simply because she admired his power and might. The Insurgent allowed her to undergo a special training and thanks to her strong will to grow in strength herself, she was destined to submit to this man and become a close if not the closest resemblance to a very own child he would have dreamed so long to have.
Zavi climbed her way to the top of his organization and, after a very long time of training and operating in the challenging and hostile environment the galaxy provides, she entered the Insurgent’s inner circle; the sect of special forces known as ‘the Scorpions’ where she received her personal designed set of arms and armour.

But over the years, distance grew between her and the Insurgent as Zavi slowly realized what the Tuatha de Danaan – despite their humble and honourable start – would become. With growing strength and increasing threat through outside forces, the Insurgent as well as his beloved community was starting to form an absolutism, now the rescuing of victims, slaves and the poor for them to regain their freedom would result in their recruitment for a brewing war of galactic superpowers for the single throne of control. While nobody was forced to fulfill their new, greater destiny, Zavi knew, this destiny was wrong. Many others saw this too. A group was formed in the underground; the Silva Novus consisting of deserters and exiles, a group, trying to stop the Tuatha de Danaan from gaining any more power. Zavi, at the age of 34, wanted to join them but how could she convince them, she wasn’t a spy trying to infiltrate and destroy them? A man, notorious for all greatness and efficiency of the Tuatha de Danaan; a man called Xbalanqe Valkerin had recently survived an attack by the Silva Novus and was on a private mission. The hyena decided to head out and kill him to gain their trust… but failed too.

Due to the life enhancing abilities of her protective armour, she was able to survive a bullet to the head. But the wasteland and the state she was in did not treat her with hospitality. Nearly 2 months did she survive this hell with her face torn open and an eye lost to the claws of a vicious animal until she found a way to escape from the planet and return to her foster father on his spaceship. But before she could confront her trial, she decided to blow up a considerable amount of the ship she was on and escape with Tobias Headcore, who formerly worked for the Silvia Novus to get in contact with them. When they finally got in contact with them, the head of the renegade organization; Morrec, approved of Zavi’s reckless gesture and welcome the two to join them.

A year had passed but her physical state grew grim. The Tiberium of her suit that kept her alive in the wasteland has grown scarce. The rare material kept her alive for a considerable amount of time, but the molten bullet in her brain was still threatening to merge with her brain tissue and kill her. Before she’d run out of Tiberium, she would have to find and recover a special set of medical equipment. But alone, this mission would have been suicide. During one of her missions for the Silvia Novus, she met the Slavic hyena named Yvette Novak who she returned to and ask her for assistance. Novak, despite the high risk and family to lose, agreed and they went on the mission.
Together, they were able to retrieve the medical equipment and bring it to the deserters for her operation. While this surgery was able to remove the bullet from her brain, the tissue itself was too badly damaged and Zavi lost her eyesight.
After this event, the hyena underwent a very low point of confidence in her life. Ripped of most of her abilities, she was reduced to her bare strength and minimalistic senses, not able to find any purpose for their cause, and neither were the Silvia Novus. Zavi experienced harassment to be the most useless and weakest of their organization. In an altercation with a former adversary among the crew, Zavi killed him and she, Tobias and Yvette were forced to flee from the Silvia Novus, aimlessly through space.
