so yeah, I finally got around to watching genndy tartavosky's primal cartoon series and ahhhhhh it was so good! the characters, the animation, the backgrounds, everything about it was beautiful!

typically i would get upset about a cartoon have dinosaurs and cavemen in the same cartoon because of how historically inaccurate that is, but their a lot of other fantasy element to this cartoon, so I'll it slide. i also like how there is literally no dialogue in the show, everything is said through grunts, roars, yells and screams and allows genndy to work on his strengths which is showing the action rather then telling and gives moments of quiet to allow the viewers to soak in the environment. also this cartoon is certainly not for kids, there is lots of blood, gore and death in it, so if you squeamish about that kind of thing, this show is not for you. anyway, it's good to see genndy still doing stuff and now that his shows are on adult swim, he has more freedom to dive into more adult content.
