He too once shared history with TirTal, long before the UrSkek set his eyes on VirDhas. Unable to cope with TirTal and his behaviors, he chose a life of self exile elsewhere far from his home world.
He is much happier where he is and honestly would never think of wanting to go back home.

Yeah, he left not knowing how bad it could have been if he did stay. Perfect timing for him, but not for VirDhas unfortunately.
YalYor may have thought being with TirTal was bad when they were together and things changed, but VirDhas ended up getting the worst parts of TirTal. If YalYor had found out though, he would have killed TirTal himself if he stayed.
