This is a WIP illustration of a scene from Chapter 22 of my fanfiction, "The Memoirs Of Dr. Strangelove". In the scene being portrayed, Anna Strangelove (one of Dr. Strangelove's twin children) comes home from school in tears, after receiving one of what will be several beatings from a group of mean children at the elementary school in the mine-shaft community. Dr. Strangelove reaches out to his daughter, hoping that he will be able to make her feel better with a big hug, a few kisses, & many words of comfort.
