"When everything died, I was the last to look upon it all. The years of the pain, sorrow, joy, blood, and piss drenched harmony I tried to clean were fragments lost at my footsteps.
I was alone.
After everything I fought for, the people I loved, the dreams I chased, and the hopes I'd swallowed,
I observed it all in the fields of lavender that stood one stalk high in my grasp. I caressed my finger to each, one younger than the last, whispering along to earlier days that I fail to recall after hoarding the present in my field. All of them ghosts of a separate bittersweet melancholy.
I sat with my legs over the edge, surrounded by the emptiness of the unknown. I had nowhere to go and nowhere I was needed. Instead, nothing I ever needed was at my grasp, in arms reach, and I could make my final stop to once and for all remember to breathe.
The older flora was unidentifiable, a day after tomorrow that would never come. The youth of the set were faded, as if reversing into an embryo, refusing to follow me to this moment.
For once, I was alone, without my thoughts, and I could finally, after everything and everyone, let it all go. I was complete, with every ounce of nothingness swallowing me from the inside out. It was too late, so I couldn't justify if it was worth it or not.
I found my resting place, and although I'd never die, I could finally see everything for what it never had to be.
Freedom."

A wonderful bust I was fortunate to commission from the outstandingly brilliant
Silvixen, who poured her heart into this piece and surprised me with the depth and beauty she could deliver in this art. I've come to see this as one of my all time favorite commissions without question, and I cannot thank her enough for her ability to bring my sona to life like this. I beg people to commission her for their own icon, as she'll help you come to see yourself in a way you'd never have expected, and at such a flawlessly high tier quality, too. The price, too, was generous to what I received. I love it and hope you all enjoy!
