Beats the cheap-ass looking mermaid costume from last year, but I do actually try to make the costumes look like actual cheap costumes on a few of the characters. It's why Nilli's costume props would look like cheap plastic if I colored them, because they'd actually be cheap plastic.
The dancers get high-quality costumes because they can list them as tax write-offs and can generally afford them, and characters like Pyra can just afford higher-quality costumes. Tiri's a barista. She probably gets her costumes at one of those Halloween stores that always pops up in empty shops around Halloween.
