Having been a young Pichu living in the Alolan region, Alana always admired the various sights and activities that were in store. One activity that always caught her interest was surfing as there were many pokemon that showed off their skills very well and always had the best tricks for the crowds. While Alana was excited about the idea of one-day surfing, she was still too young and couldn't control her electricity just yet. Water and Electricity don't exactly mix, and an Electric-type that can't control their electricity is just asking for disaster. Once she evolved into a Pikachu later in her life, her mother was kind enough to help teach her a few things on how to properly surf. Once Alana turned 18, she was given a Thunder Stone as her birthday gift to finally evolve into a Raichu. Though thanks to the diet her mother had put her on, she evolved into an Alolan Raichu like her mother. With her newfound ability to "surf" on her tail and to practice her stunts without the need for water, she was quite happy and eager to try out what she could possibly do. Even if she still needs some practice here and there to properly control this tail of hers, she enjoys the fun she can have.

Quite often with how skilled Alana is with riding her tail, she enjoys performing stunts or competing against other pokemon. )
Dislikes: Long Walks, Accidental Shocks, Heights ( Because of the many uses an Alolan Raichu has with its tail, it can be a really devastating thought for one such as Alana to have to walk around on foot without the use of her tail. While Alana has no problems controlling her electricity, her cheeks are still able to produce electricity and may usually lead to accidental shocks if accidentally touched. Despite Alana's tail hovering off the ground, she isn't exactly the biggest fan of heights that are a bit much for her. )
