Back when Miranda lived in Kanto, she always wanted to find a means of showing her looks to many pokemon as possible. Persian fur happens to be quite popular with pokemon, and Miranda’s fur happens to have a unique style to it. Though their temperament often gets in the way of approaching them, being very dangerous to be around at times. Miranda herself isn’t exactly a short-tempered pokemon, just one who tries to keep her fur in check and can be nervous or aggressive when it comes to it. One strategy Miranda picked up to combat this was to slowly tug on her whiskers, getting into the habit of twirling them to hide the act. This would help calm her down when she feels stressed out about anything on her mind. You can expect her to twirl her whiskers right before the beginning of a pokemon contest as she often worries herself over appearance. Every pokemon partaking in a contest is judged based on appearance and condition in the beginning, so it makes sense she would be worried. Even if her looks might not be to her perfection, her performance can surely wow the crowd. Years of practice in battles and talent shows have prepared her for being on the stage, though with so much worry on her looks it can be difficult for her to believe in her skills sometimes.
