Mlark and Daitana grew up in the city of rayks, far away from home woods and plains of their kind. Mlark’s family ran away from the Northern dwellings, escaping from the threat of the attack of the Eastern tribesmen, while three generations of Daitana’s relatives lived in Sinhelm.

Like all urbanized kez at that time, they lived poorly and starved. Both of the girls were used to aggression and aloofness since they were children, but like any creatures in an unknown surroundings they tried to unite with the creatures like them.

Daitana had been keeping an eye on the Northern kitty for a very long time, but she wasn’t brave enough to get acquainted with her until this moment.
When Mlark was returning from the church, she sneaked up on her and suddenly appeared out of the darkness, offering her to eat a recently caught urban bird. She is just a child, that grew up unguarded, in poverty and constant hunger, a child that thought that offering a dead bird is the best way to start a friendship. ‘Cause, what if Mlark is hungry like her?

Мларк и Дайтана выросли среди райкского города, вдали от родных лесов и степей их вида. Семья Мларк бежала из поселения северных, спасаясь от угрозы со стороны восточных сородичей, родня же Дайтаны жила в Синхельме в третьем поколении.

Как и все урбанизированные кецы в том времени они жили бедно и голодно. Они обе с детства привыкли к отчужденности и агрессии, и как любые существа в чуждом для них окружении они стремились сплачиваться с себе подобными.

Дайтана давно приглядывалась к северному котёнку, но не решалась с ней познакомиться до этого момента. Когда Мларк возвращалась со службы в церкви она подкралась к ней и внезапно возникнув из темноты предложила съесть пойманную ею городскую птицу. Она ребёнок, растущий без присмотра, в нищете и постоянном голоде, и подумала, что предложить убитую ею птицу это лучший способ завязать отношения. Ведь вдруг Мларк тоже голодна?
