Tucson Comic-Con was the weekend and one of the celebrity guests was Chris McCollough, aka the voice of Foxy the Pirate. To be honest, I had mostly retired my Foxy suit but I knew I would need to bring him out for this.
He was ecstatic seeing my suit. Even as I was still approaching, he was jumping up from around his desk wanting a photo with me! As a builder and cosplayer, getting praise from someone responsible for the character you worked so hard at portraying means so very very much more than you could believe. He was so amazed at the work and animatronics in it.

I knew getting a voice recording was an option but I think I was just so focused on the photo & signing I hadn’t really considered trying to get audio as well. I had already done a full day with other cosplays on Saturday so I was a bit tired when I did this on Sunday.
But simply talking with him and talking about my costume was already an amazing thing to experience.
